We all love weddings. They vary from glorious affairs in palatial venues, to intimate family gatherings in a garden or an informal bohemian-style celebration…
Perfect Victorian venue
Our latest collection of bespoke wedding dresses https://tatianaporembova.co.uk/signature-wedding-dresses/ is described as romantic with beautiful silhouettes, details and materials. So, when the lovely Jenny from Juno Weddings https://junoweddings.co.uk/ approached my studio to collaborate on a Victorian-inspired wedding photoshoot held in the iconic National Liberal Club (NLC) https://nlc.org.uk/ I jumped at the opportunity.
On the day of the shoot, as I walked into NLC, I felt simultaneously transported into history yet connected to the best of contemporary, multicultural London. I was greeted by Europe’s largest unsupported marble staircase, spiraling towards an ornate stained-glass ceiling. An absolute dream setting for the couple’s wedding photographs capturing the grandeur of the special day perfectly. The very talented Petrina https://www.photography-by-petrina.co.uk/ whose love of fine art and passion for photography merge effortlessly creating beautiful images.
Attention to details and a sympathetic approach to the venue permeated throughout, giving a cohesive beautiful atmosphere even down to the stationery that used Victorian-style handwriting by https://thedandelion.art/
The décor and styling were truly spectacular with floral arrangements being a real focal point created by Louise from https://www.louisehartleyenglish.uk/
We are so lucky to have access to such wonderful and colourful venues throughout the country and the NLC would make a truly unforgettable setting for any wedding. Should you wish to read more about this wonderful photoshoot, see these fantastic wedding blogs where we were fortunate to be featured:
